PORTANT NOTICE
Subject: Seeking of preference for various District/ Divisional/UT cadre posts of Class-IV advertised vide Advertisement Notification
No. 01 of 2020 Dated 26.06.2020-regarding.
Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) under Accelerated Recruitment Drive advertised 8575 District/ Divisional/UT cadre posts of Class-IV vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2020 Dated 26.06.2020, in pursuance of the Jammu & Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special
Recruitment) Rules, 2020 notified vide S.O 184 dated 4th of June, 2020 and;Whereas, sub-rule (5) of rule (5) of Jammu & Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020 notified vide S.O 184 dated 4th of
June, 2020 envisages as under:
“Candidates will be required to indicate their order of preference for allotment against District/ Divisional/UT cadre vacancies at the time of application, and;Whereas, vide S.O. 351 dated 18th November, 2020, sub-rule (5) of rule (5) S.O 184 dated 4th of June, 2020 was substituted as under:“Candidates will be required to indicate their order of
preference for allotment against District/ Divisional/UT cadre vacancies at the time of application or as and when
considered appropriate by the Board.”
Now therefore, in view of the above, all such candidates who have appeared in the OMR based objective type written examination for the Class IV post held in three batches on 27th, 28th February 2021 and 01st March, 2021,
are hereby called upon to indicate their order of preference for allotment
against District/ Divisional/UT cadre vacancies through link provided on the official website of the Board i.e.,
www.jkssb.nic.in w.e.f. 26.03.2021 upto 01.04.2021.
