The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited all the candidates to apply for Lady Medical Officer (Family Welfare), Principal Design Officer (Electrical), Ship Surveyor cum Deputy Director General (Technical) and Assistant Architect posts. The online application process for UPSC Recruitment 2021 has started and the last date to apply for 5 posts is April 1.

The last date for printing of completely submitted online application is upto April 2, 2021. Candidates are requested to apply only online on the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) website upsconline.nic.in.

Candidates are not required to submit to the commission either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or any other document.

They will be required to bring along with them the printouts of their online applications and the documents if called for interview.

Application fee to be paid :

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 25 only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.

No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No " fee exemption " is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

Educational qualification for UPSC Recruitment 2021 :

Lady Medical Officer(Family Welfare) :

(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Holders of the Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in the sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(ii) Completion of Compulsory rotating internship.

Principal Design Officer (Electrical): Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent (ii) Ten years practical experience in design/installation/ construction of ships.

Selection procedure:

Candidates will be short-listed for interview only on the basis of the information provided by them in their online applications documents submitted in support of the claim made in the online application will be examined only if the candidate is prima facie eligible to be shortlisted on the basis of information regarding qualifications and experience claimed in the online application, various reports as per the advertisement and modalities and criteria adopted for shortlisting.
