The University of Kashmir has officially released the Selection Criteria, Exam Pattern, and Detailed Syllabus for the post of Junior Assistant advertised under Advertisement Notice No. 09 of 2026 dated 31 March 2026. Candidates who have applied for the recruitment should carefully review the examination scheme and start their preparation accordingly.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of two stages:
Stage Marks
Objective Type Written Test (OMR Based) 80 Marks
Computer Skill Test 20 Marks
Total 100 Marks
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Computer Test in the ratio of 1:5 based on their performance in the OMR-based written examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the combined score obtained in both stages.
Important: Appearing in the Computer Skill Test is mandatory. Candidates who fail to appear in the skill test will not be considered for final selection, irrespective of their written test score.
