As expected most places have not recorded any snowfall. While, some parts in north Kashmir plains have recorded light snowfall. Light snowfall was reported from Bandipora, Baramulla and Kupwara plains with no accumulation or accumulation less than 2 inches.
2 inches in Tangmarg, half an inch in Handwara.
Higher reaches in north Kashmir have recorded moderate snowfall ranging between 1 and 9 inches.
Today, light rain/snow can can occur at some places with generally cloudy weather elsewhere.
Moderate snowfall possible at a few places in higher reaches.
From tomorrow onwards, drop in night temperature is expected. Day temperature will also stay below the normal level.
