J&K Police Sub Inspector’s exam result triggers controversy in J&K
Jammu: Although the Jammu and Kashmir government has claimed to ensure transparent recruitment process, the recent result of Police Sub Inspector’s written exam has sparked controversy.
Soon after the result was declared by Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSBB), netizens alleged irregularities in the exam and demanded a probe.
Moreover, the protest was also staged in Jammu by aspirants demanding a probe.
“Siblings of many families found in the result at top spot, which raises question over the recruitment,” a protester said.
He said if there are no irregularities in irregularities then government should clarify regarding the discrepancies being pointed out or conduct a thorough probe.
Pertinent to mention here that JKSSB conducted the Sub-Inspector (Police) examination on March 27 from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
A total of 1,13,861 candidates were scheduled to appear for the examination out of which 97,793 (85.95%) candidates took the examination.
“The candidates can submit their objections/representations in respect of any question/answer (if any) and upload the same, along-with documentary evidence/ reference through the online link available on the website of the Board i.e www.jkssb.nic.in from 28th of March 2022 to 31st of March 2022”, reads the official notification.
