Overview:

Bayer is hiring an experienced Financial Accountant- General Ledger at their Bangalore location. You will provide financial accounting support to Country Finance & Service Centre and record, maintain, verify and execute transactions with a medium level of complexity according to process documentation

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

Facilitate Financial Books close for the said accounting period, compliant with accounting standards & control framework

Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations and ensure closure of open items based on analyzing financial records and co-ordinating with Country Finance

Collaborate with Sub-ledger teams to resolve any accounting queries

Ensure Cash flow template is prepared as per schedule

Adherence to CCPs

Provide support during external and internal audits

Ensure timely resolution of queries through analysis and / or liaising with Country Finance through calls, emails etc.

Strive & Contribute towards process improvement

Participate in org-level activities

Knowledge of MS Office, SAP and T-codes will be an added advantage.

Qualifications for this Job:

Graduate with specialization in finance

2-4 years in accounting process

Ability to use the relevant IT systems (e.g., SAP)

Computer literacy, ability to use the office suite

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of Accounting (Journal entries, Reconciliations, etc.)
